La <strong>LOMLOE<\/strong> sembla haver optat per aquesta segona via: si els alumnes no escriuen prou b\u00e9, potser el problema no \u00e9s com escriuen, sin\u00f3 el fet que ho estiguem mesurant a trav\u00e9s d&#8217;indicadors objectius.<\/p>\n<p>Durant d\u00e8cades, <strong>l\u2019ortografia<\/strong> havia estat una variable inc\u00f2modament mesurable. A les <strong>PAU<\/strong> de fa vint anys, les faltes restaven punts de manera efectiva i transversal, sense cap l\u00edmit. En les proves de llengua anteriors al 2010, la penalitzaci\u00f3 era il\u00b7limitada i un alumne podia suspendre l&#8217;examen exclusivament per les seves errades ortogr\u00e0fiques. <strong>Escriure b\u00e9 no era un ornament, era un pilar<\/strong> estructural que afectava tamb\u00e9 mat\u00e8ries com la Hist\u00f2ria o la Filosofia. Recordo correccions d&#8217;ex\u00e0mens on un text impecable d&#8217;un alumne tenia una nota m\u00e9s baixa per culpa de les faltes d&#8217;ortografia. Per\u00f2 el que vivim ara \u00e9s l&#8217;altre extrem.<\/p>\n<p>I tot va comen\u00e7ar l&#8217;any 2010, quan es va fer una <strong>gran reforma de la Selectivitat<\/strong> (anomenada a partir d&#8217;aquest any PAU). Va ser llavors quan es va decidir que s&#8217;havia de valorar la capacitat de raonament i no nom\u00e9s la mem\u00f2ria o l&#8217;ortografia. Es va entendre que un futur enginyer o un metge brillant no podia quedar fora de la universitat per un grapat d&#8217;accents mal posats, i aqu\u00ed \u00e9s on van n\u00e9ixer els &#8220;topalls&#8221; de penalitzaci\u00f3 que s&#8217;han anat polint fins a l&#8217;actualitat.<\/p>\n<p>Com a conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, avui el sistema per baixar les notes \u00e9s m\u00e9s sofisticat. A les PAU recents, especialment <strong>des de 2025, les faltes d\u2019ortografia cada vegada s\u00f3n m\u00e9s ignorades<\/strong>. En llengua catalana i castellana, cada error resta aproximadament 0,1 punts fins a un m\u00e0xim de dos punts. En lleng\u00fces estrangeres, la penalitzaci\u00f3 es dilueix en un m\u00e0xim d\u2019un punt i mig per expressi\u00f3 deficient. I en la resta de mat\u00e8ries, despr\u00e9s d\u2019algunes vacil\u00b7lacions, la tend\u00e8ncia dominant \u00e9s clara: les faltes no penalitzen o ho fan de manera residual, a criteri del corrector. Ara es valora molt m\u00e9s la claredat de l&#8217;exposici\u00f3, la qual cosa dona una llibertat total al corrector per ignorar les faltes si el contingut \u00e9s correcte. En mat\u00e8ries com la que jo ensenyo (Economia) l&#8217;ortografia no \u00e9s important. Tradu\u00eft al catal\u00e0 de carrer: si el corrector de les PAU ent\u00e9n que saps qu\u00e8 \u00e9s un balan\u00e7, li hauria d&#8217;importar ben poc si l&#8217;has escrit amb &#8216;v&#8217; o amb &#8216;b&#8217;. \u00c9s una jugada mestra per salvar els mobles. Escriure b\u00e9 ha passat a ser un detall secundari que ja no bloqueja l&#8217;acc\u00e9s dels alumnes als estudis superiors.<\/p>\n<p>I si aquests canvis no s\u00f3n casuals? Aqu\u00ed \u00e9s on encaixa a la perfecci\u00f3 el <strong>model competencial<\/strong>. La LOMLOE proposa substituir el coneixement per \u201ccompet\u00e8ncies\u201d, \u00e9s a dir, per habilitats difuses que combinen actituds, procediments i valors. El problema \u00e9s que aquestes compet\u00e8ncies s\u00f3n dif\u00edcils de mesurar i els aprovats (sense coneixements) <em>tendeixen a augmentar<\/em> o <em>es faciliten<\/em>. L\u2019ortografia, que \u00e9s brutalment objectiva, molesta. La soluci\u00f3 ha estat elegant: reduir-la, encapsular-la, fer-la desapar\u00e8ixer all\u00e0 on pot generar evid\u00e8ncia inc\u00f2moda.<\/p>\n<p>I en aquesta mateixa l\u00ednia encaixa el buidatge del curr\u00edculum. Per exemple, la fusi\u00f3 de F\u00edsica i Qu\u00edmica o de Biologia i Geologia en etapes pr\u00e8vies (ESO), aix\u00ed com la p\u00e8rdua relativa d\u2019hores en batxillerat, no \u00e9s nom\u00e9s un caprici organitzatiu. \u00c9s una reducci\u00f3 del coneixement que encaixa amb el nou sistema: s&#8217;han eliminat hores de classe magistral de ci\u00e8ncies per dedicar-les a les anomenades Situacions d&#8217;Aprenentatge, on l&#8217;alumne ha d&#8217;investigar pel seu compte. Menys profunditat i m\u00e9s transversalitat. Menys coneixement acumulatiu i m\u00e9s activitats competencials, que sovint consisteixen en \u201creflexionar\u201d sobre coses que abans s\u2019estudiaven. El sistema educatiu que tenim esdev\u00e9 molt eficient en una cosa: evitar indicadors clars de frac\u00e0s. Per\u00f2 el problema no desapareix, nom\u00e9s canvia de lloc.<strong> I aqu\u00ed \u00e9s on apareix l\u2019economia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aquesta deriva pedag\u00f2gica no es pot entendre de manera a\u00efllada. M\u00e9s aviat, pot estar alineada amb un model productiu com el nostre, fortament orientat als serveis. En aquest context, la prioritzaci\u00f3 de compet\u00e8ncies transversals per sobre del coneixement profund no \u00e9s necess\u00e0riament casual, sin\u00f3 que resulta coherent amb les demandes d\u2019una part significativa del mercat laboral. Espanya i Catalunya s\u00f3n, en gran mesura, economies de serveis. Segons dades recents de l\u2019Idescat, els serveis representen prop del 69% del PIB tant a Catalunya com a Espanya, amb un pes especialment elevat de les activitats immobili\u00e0ries, el comer\u00e7, l\u2019hostaleria i el transport. Estem posant tots els ous en una cistella que sabem que est\u00e0 foradada. Escriure b\u00e9 implica rigor mental i capacitat d\u2019abstracci\u00f3, elements indispensables per a una economia avan\u00e7ada basada en la tecnologia.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019adaptaci\u00f3 curricular sembla coherent amb un mercat laboral que cada vegada demana m\u00e9s perfils polivalents, sovint per damunt de l\u2019especialitzaci\u00f3 profunda. Per\u00f2 aquest sistema educatiu acaba desarmant intel\u00b7lectualment les generacions futures. Quan substitu\u00efm els coneixements per projectes transversals, debats i treballs en grup, estem privant l&#8217;economia de les eines que permeten la innovaci\u00f3 real i la competitivitat en sectors d&#8217;alt valor afegit.<\/p>\n<p>Potser, al final, la pregunta no \u00e9s si la LOMLOE fracassa. Potser la pregunta \u00e9s si est\u00e0 alineada amb un <strong>model econ\u00f2mic concret<\/strong>. Un model en qu\u00e8 Espanya -amb 97 milions de turistes anuals- i Catalunya\u00a0 -amb m\u00e9s de 20 milions de visitants estrangers el 2025- continuaran sent pot\u00e8ncies tur\u00edstiques globals, per\u00f2 amb una m\u00e0 d&#8217;obra barata i d&#8217;escassa qualificaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>I aqu\u00ed el sarcasme es torna inc\u00f2mode. No \u00e9s descartable que el sistema educatiu estigui evolucionant en una direcci\u00f3 que, de manera indirecta, acaba encaixant amb aquest model econ\u00f2mic. No ser\u00e0 que preferim una economia basada en serveis poc productius abans que apostar decididament per sectors tecnol\u00f2gics, cient\u00edfics o industrials d\u2019alt nivell? No ser\u00e0 que un sistema educatiu menys exigent encaixa millor amb una estructura econ\u00f2mica de salaris m\u00e9s baixos i menor especialitzaci\u00f3?<\/p>\n<p>El cas es va fer visible en un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@flaixbacoficial\/video\/7618858820709748000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">v\u00eddeo viral de TikTok del Sal\u00f3 de l\u2019Ensenyament<\/a>, on alguns alumnes no eren capa\u00e7os d\u2019identificar figures com <strong>Salvador Illa<\/strong> o de <strong>situar els Pirineus en un mapa<\/strong>. M\u00e9s que provocar riure, el v\u00eddeo convida a una reflexi\u00f3 inc\u00f2moda. No \u00e9s nom\u00e9s una an\u00e8cdota: \u00e9s el s\u00edmptoma d\u2019un sistema educatiu que, en buidar-se de contingut i exig\u00e8ncia, deixa els alumnes sense eines s\u00f2lides per interpretar el m\u00f3n. Aquest buit no \u00e9s neutre. Una formaci\u00f3 m\u00e9s superficial no nom\u00e9s limita les oportunitats futures, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 pot fer m\u00e9s vulnerables les noves generacions davant de discursos simplistes i del creixement dels populismes.<\/p>\n<p>La realitat \u00e9s que <strong>els serveis a Catalunya i a Espanya tenen una menor capacitat d\u2019innovaci\u00f3<\/strong> i s\u00f3n m\u00e9s dependents del cicle econ\u00f2mic i de les crisis. Les dades de la pand\u00e8mia ho il\u00b7lustren amb claredat: el turisme es va enfonsar, passant de 83,7 a 18,9 milions de visitants a Espanya entre 2019 i 2020, i de 19,4 a 3,9 milions a Catalunya. L\u2019impacte va ser immediat: el PIB es va desplomar m\u00e9s d\u2019un 21% en ambd\u00f3s casos durant el segon trimestre de 2020, la caiguda m\u00e9s greu des de la guerra civil.<\/p>\n<p>I aqu\u00ed \u00e9s on torno a q\u00fcestionar la LOMLOE, que ha assolit el seu \u00e8xit m\u00e9s pervers: fer compatible l&#8217;abs\u00e8ncia de coneixement a les aules amb una for\u00e7a laboral de baixa qualificaci\u00f3 per als nostres sectors productius. El resultat apunta cap a un sistema que prioritza perfils funcionalment \u201ccompetents\u201d, possiblement m\u00e9s adaptats a una economia de serveis amb un pes important d\u2019activitats de menor valor afegit. \u00c9s l\u2019operaci\u00f3 de maquillatge definitiva: si el mercat laboral no exigeix rigor, per qu\u00e8 dimonis <em>l\u2019hauria d\u2019exigir l\u2019escola?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>No ens enganyem: un pa\u00eds que acaba considerant l&#8217;ortografia com un obstacle per a un futur enginyer \u00e9s un pa\u00eds que, a la pr\u00e0ctica, ha renunciat a l&#8217;excel\u00b7l\u00e8ncia en la innovaci\u00f3. <strong>Hem prioritzat la cosm\u00e8tica d\u2019unes estad\u00edstiques d&#8217;educaci\u00f3<\/strong> aparentment bones per sobre de la capacitat real dels joves per expressar-se amb correcci\u00f3. Som una pot\u00e8ncia tur\u00edstica, certament, per\u00f2 dependre exclusivament de les platges i la sorra ens condemna a una economia de baix valor afegit i salaris precaris.<\/p>\n<p>En el fons, l&#8217;\u00e8xit d&#8217;aquesta reforma no \u00e9s pedag\u00f2gic, sin\u00f3 sist\u00e8mic: s&#8217;ha dissenyat un model on tothom \u00e9s &#8220;competent&#8221; sobre el paper, encara que no s\u00e0piga situar els Pirineus en un mapa o desxifrar una n\u00f2mina. \u00c9s una operaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;adaptaci\u00f3 al buit que espera a molts joves en el mercat laboral.
