La seva presentaci\u00f3 va tenir lloc en el marc de l&#8217;I F\u00f2rum d&#8217;Acad\u00e8mics per les evid\u00e8ncies educatives (el programa i la informaci\u00f3 de les quals detallada poden consultar en <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/fundacioepisteme.cat\/forum2026\/programa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/fundacioepisteme.cat\/forum2026\/programa\/<\/a><\/span>) en el qual vaig tenir el plaer de participar en una taula rodona final d&#8217;an\u00e0lisi i debat.<\/p>\n<p>Com per motius d&#8217;agenda ja no era present el ponent a la sala, aprofito aquestes l\u00ednies per a realitzar una s\u00edntesi lliure i afegir alguns apunts personals. Serveixi com a carta oberta. A trav\u00e9s de la seva exposici\u00f3, L\u00f3pez\u00a0Rup\u00e9rez\u00a0va articular i va defensar la urgent necessitat de transitar d&#8217;un model educatiu basat en in\u00e8rcies, ideologies i creences, sovint sense rigor cient\u00edfic m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 del \u2018a mi em funciona\u2019, a un fonamentat estrictament en la ci\u00e8ncia i les dades emp\u00edriques.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aclarint el concepte &#8220;d&#8217;evid\u00e8ncia&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Per a abordar adequadament aquest debat, L\u00f3pez\u00a0Rup\u00e9rez\u00a0va comen\u00e7ar, amb encert, presentant un obstacle terminol\u00f2gic. La ling\u00fc\u00edstica al rescat. Va advertir que, en espanyol, la paraula &#8220;<em>evidencia<\/em>&#8221;\u00a0\u00e9s\u00a0un &#8220;fals amic&#8221; respecte al terme anglosax\u00f3 \u201c<em>evidence<\/em>\u201d. Mentre que la RAE\u00a0 defineix evid\u00e8ncia com una &#8220;certesa clara i manifesta de la qual no es pot dubtar&#8221;, Rup\u00e9rez va aclarir que en l&#8217;\u00e0mbit de la ci\u00e8ncia i la recerca (secundant-se en diccionaris com el de Cambridge o el d&#8217;Oxford), el terme es refereix en la cultura anglosaxona, de forma m\u00e9s laxa, al conjunt de raons, fets o informaci\u00f3 que recolzen la validesa d&#8217;una proposici\u00f3. S&#8217;obre l&#8217;escletxa del dubte. Per aix\u00f2, va destacar que en el context europeu s&#8217;ha optat per parlar d&#8217;una &#8220;Educaci\u00f3 informada per evid\u00e8ncies&#8221; (Pellegrini &amp; Vivanet, 2020), un enfocament que, per tant, transcendeix el purament experimental per a incloure metodologies qualitatives, i mixtes, a l&#8217;hora d&#8217;orientar les pol\u00edtiques i la pr\u00e0ctica docent. Fa temps, en una conversa amb H\u00e9ctor Ruiz Martin, recordo que em deia que se sol preferir parlar de \u2018Educaci\u00f3 Basada en Proves Cient\u00edfiques\u201d, per a evitar qualsevol escletxa de dubte sobre l&#8217;origen, la qualitat o validesa de l&#8217;evid\u00e8ncia, o perdre&#8217;s en disquisicions ling\u00fc\u00edstiques.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inspirat en la Medicina<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Durant la seva intervenci\u00f3, L\u00f3pez Rup\u00e9rez va situar l&#8217;origen del moviment educatiu de l&#8217;Educaci\u00f3 Basada en Evid\u00e8ncies (EBE) a la fi del segle XX (amb esment expl\u00edcit a pioners com David H. Hargreaves), i com va trobar el seu principal referent en la denominada Medicina Basada en l&#8217;Evid\u00e8ncia (MBE). Es tracta, sens dubte, del tr\u00e0nsit propi de disciplines precient\u00edfiques a cient\u00edfiques,\u00a0 d&#8217;un canvi de paradigma kuhne\u00e0, fet que tamb\u00e9 ha succe\u00eft amb la psicologia o la ling\u00fc\u00edstica. El professor L\u00f3pez Rup\u00e9rez va exposar que la MBE s&#8217;ent\u00e9n com l'&#8221;\u00fas conscient, expl\u00edcit i judici\u00f3s de la millor evid\u00e8ncia actual&#8221; (Sackett et al., 1996).<\/p>\n<p>Tal com va il\u00b7lustrar, igual que la medicina classifica la solidesa de les seves troballes en diferents nivells, des dels rigorosos metaan\u00e0lisi fins a les opinions d&#8217;experts (Tenny &amp; Varacallo, 2025), l&#8217;educaci\u00f3 hauria de buscar establir un marc similar.\u00a0 L&#8217;objectiu que planteja \u00e9s clar: identificar amb rigor quines pr\u00e0ctiques aconsegueixen realment resultats desitjables i, tamb\u00e9, en l&#8217;altra cara de la moneda, quins prevenen conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies indesitjables (Kvernbekk, 2016).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Els perqu\u00e8s d&#8217;una Educaci\u00f3 Basada en Evid\u00e8ncies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Per a justificar aquest canvi de paradigma en l&#8217;educaci\u00f3, L\u00f3pez\u00a0Rup\u00e9rez\u00a0va esgrimir tres motius fonamentals, ja contemplats en alguns articles previs:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. La complexitat del context<\/strong>: El ponent argumenta que, a mesura que els sistemes educatius es tornen m\u00e9s complexos, la seva governan\u00e7a exigeix convertir-se en una activitat cada vegada m\u00e9s intensiva en coneixement (secundant-se en\u00a0Burns\u00a0&amp;\u00a0K\u00f6ster, 2016).<br \/>\n<strong>2. El declivi dels resultats<\/strong>: Rup\u00e9rez alerta sobre una deteriorament estructural en el rendiment dels estudiants a Am\u00e8rica del Nord i Europa, un declivi que subratlla que \u00e9s anterior a la pand\u00e8mia i que contrasta dr\u00e0sticament amb el progr\u00e9s del Sud-est Asi\u00e0tic (OECD, 2023).<br \/>\n<strong>3. L&#8217;efectivitat demostrada<\/strong>: Citant al Wing Institute, l&#8217;expert sost\u00e9 que la ci\u00e8ncia ofereix el millor m\u00e8tode disponible per a identificar aquelles pol\u00edtiques capaces de revertir aquesta tend\u00e8ncia negativa.<\/p>\n<p>Un dels punts m\u00e9s emf\u00e0tics en l&#8217;enfocament de L\u00f3pez\u00a0Rup\u00e9rez\u00a0\u00e9s que l&#8217;\u00fas d&#8217;evid\u00e8ncies no respon \u00fanicament a criteris d&#8217;efic\u00e0cia, sin\u00f3 que constitueix un profund imperatiu moral. Aix\u00ed, com a educadors que busquen el millor per als seus alumnes, \u00e9s un deure moral secundar-se en eines que maximitzin les probabilitats d&#8217;encert.\u00a0Rup\u00e9rez\u00a0insisteix que ha d&#8217;imperar el principi m\u00e8dic de\u00a0<em>primum non nocere <\/em>(&#8220;el primer \u00e9s no fer mal&#8221;), establint l\u00edmits \u00e8tics i morals a l&#8217;aplicaci\u00f3 d&#8217;innovacions no provades, com podria ser la irrupci\u00f3 de tecnologies com la IA, i a la influ\u00e8ncia de la ideologia a les aules (L\u00f3pez\u00a0Rup\u00e9rez,\u00a02026a).<\/p>\n<p>Hi ha tota una l\u00ednia basada en el desenvolupament d&#8217;indicadors educatius, pensant sempre en la qualitat i amb les m\u00e8triques de fons (Garz\u00f3n, 2019). Tamb\u00e9 sovint una confusi\u00f3 entre bones pr\u00e0ctiques, innovaci\u00f3 educativa i recerca, i de la seva relaci\u00f3 amb la qualitat de l&#8217;evid\u00e8ncia (Hern\u00e1ndez-Fern\u00e1ndez, 2019). El gran desafiament, va advertir el ponent fent-se eco de\u00a0Burns\u00a0i\u00a0K\u00f6ster\u00a0(2016), \u00e9s que l&#8217;educaci\u00f3 \u00e9s un terreny dominat per fortes creences i identitats personals que solen xocar amb les troballes cient\u00edfiques. Per aix\u00f2, fa una crida a transitar de la &#8220;l\u00f2gica de les intencions&#8221; a la &#8220;l\u00f2gica dels resultats&#8221;. D&#8217;altra banda, em va recordar a la inevitable pres\u00e8ncia de biaixos cognitius en els quals els humans, donada la nostra biologia, tendim a caure: el pensament cr\u00edtic \u00e9s fonamental i ens obliga a estar molt alerta davant els nostres propis biaixos i, afegiria Daniel\u00a0Kahneman, al propi soroll, que ens influeix m\u00e9s del que pensem en el nostre dia a dia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lli\u00e7ons per al futur de l&#8217;educaci\u00f3 espanyola<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A mode de conclusi\u00f3, L\u00f3pez\u00a0Rup\u00e9rez\u00a0va tancar la seva presentaci\u00f3 amb la proposici\u00f3 de diverses directrius clares per a la millora del sistema educatiu a Espanya:<\/p>\n<p>i) Va subratllar la urg\u00e8ncia de cobrir el notable d\u00e8ficit de coneixement que existeix a l&#8217;hora de fonamentar pol\u00edtiques i pr\u00e0ctiques.<br \/>\nii)\u00a0Va reclamar fer un salt qualitatiu vital: passar de les fragmentades &#8220;Ci\u00e8ncies de l&#8217;Educaci\u00f3&#8221; a una veritable i unificada &#8220;Ci\u00e8ncia de l&#8217;Educaci\u00f3&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>iii)\u00a0Va exigir desenvolupar de manera sistem\u00e0tica el pensament cient\u00edfic en els futurs docents, en la formaci\u00f3 inicial del professorat, considerant-lo un pilar professional indispensable. Ser\u00e0 m\u00e9s dif\u00edcil si es retallen hores de ci\u00e8ncies en les etapes preuniversit\u00e0ries.<\/p>\n<p>iv)\u00a0En definitiva,\u00a0Rup\u00e9rez\u00a0va concloure que \u00e9s necessari enrobustir la professi\u00f3 docent, perqu\u00e8 deixi de ser una \u201cprofessi\u00f3 feble\u201d, tant en els plans epistemol\u00f2gic com en el deontol\u00f2gic (Hern\u00e1ndez-Fern\u00e1ndez, 2025), aprenent dels millors i imitant el reeixit cam\u00ed recorregut per la medicina en els \u00faltims segles (L\u00f3pez\u00a0Rup\u00e9rez,\u00a02026b).<\/p>\n<p>I aix\u00ed com Hip\u00f2crates va encendre fa mil\u00b7lennis en el cor d&#8217;Europa la flama de la ra\u00f3 enfront de la superxeria, forjant un llegat indestructible, que encara avui ens protegeix de l&#8217;obscurantisme de les modes pseudocient\u00edfiques, l&#8217;educaci\u00f3 ha de recollir aquest testimoni llumin\u00f3s. El llegat d&#8217;Europa, bressol del pensament cr\u00edtic i del m\u00e8tode cient\u00edfic, ens ensenya que curar el cos i conrear la ment exigeixen la mateixa devoci\u00f3 per la veritat. Evitem els cants de sirena del xarlatanisme. Que les nostres aules, igual que els nostres hospitals, s&#8217;erigeixin com a fars inexpugnables contra el curanderisme intel\u00b7lectual, contra els abra\u00e7a\u00e0rbres i els desficacis hol\u00edstics, honrant en cada lli\u00e7\u00f3 aquell antic jurament: il\u00b7luminar amb certeses i proves cient\u00edfiques, bandejar la ignor\u00e0ncia i, per sobre de tot, com a m\u00ednim, intentem no danyar les pr\u00f2ximes generacions.\u00a0 Perqu\u00e8, com va dir Bunge, la pseudoci\u00e8ncia \u00e9s escombraria intel\u00b7lectual no inn\u00f2cua: no deixem que erosioni el llegat que tants segles va costar construir.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h6>Refer\u00e8ncies:<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Burns, T., &amp; K\u00f6ster, F.
