Aquest fet coincideix amb la imposici\u00f3 de determinades ideologies pol\u00edtiques i corrents pedag\u00f2gics que han despla\u00e7at el paper central del saber, del docent i de l\u2019esfor\u00e7 intel\u00b7lectual. Segons els indicadors internacionals <strong>PISA, PIRLS <\/strong>o<strong> TIMMS<\/strong>, els resultats educatius nacionals romanen estancats en una caiguda constant i reiterada. Per tal de revertir aquesta situaci\u00f3 urgeix analitzar quins models educatius externs funcionen i aplicar-los en el nostre pa\u00eds. Com ara es veur\u00e0 cal obrir un espai de <strong>reflexi\u00f3 i debat<\/strong> per tal de recuperar un ensenyament exigent, s\u00f2lid i basat en el saber. Sense coneixement no hi ha ensenyament.<\/p>\n<p>Si analitzem els sistemes educatius que ostenten els millors resultats en les proves internacionals PISA, com ara el <strong>Jap\u00f3, Singapur, Corea del Sud <\/strong>o<strong> Est\u00f2nia<\/strong>, aix\u00ed com determinades comunitats aut\u00f2nomes de l\u2019Estat espanyol \u2014com <strong>Castella i Lle\u00f3 <\/strong>o <strong>Ast\u00faries<\/strong>\u2014 o els centres amb excel\u00b7lents resultats a les PAU, s\u2019observen una s\u00e8rie de coincid\u00e8ncies estructurals que ja ens indiquen el cam\u00ed a seguir. Aquests models posen l\u2019\u00e8mfasi en l\u2019adquisici\u00f3 de coneixements a llarg termini &#8211; o profunds \u2013 entre els nostres alumnes. Aix\u00f2 \u00e9s gr\u00e0cies a <strong>curr\u00edculums exigents i ben estructurats<\/strong>, a una <strong>comprensi\u00f3 lectora s\u00f2lida<\/strong> per part dels alumnes i a uns docents especialistes amb un <strong>domini rigor\u00f3s de la seva disciplina i llengua<\/strong> parlada i escrita. En definitiva, lluny de curr\u00edculums dispersos o excessivament flexibles, aquestes regions o pa\u00efsos amb \u00e8xit educatiu aposten per programes clars, exigents i acumulatius.<\/p>\n<p>Un element clau en tot l\u2019anterior \u00e9s l\u2019<strong>estabilitat legislativa<\/strong>. Els sistemes educatius d\u2019\u00e8xit no estan sotmesos a canvis constants de llei, sin\u00f3 que mantenen marcs normatius estables que permeten consolidar pr\u00e0ctiques eficients a llarg termini. Aix\u00f2 va lligat a una clara confian\u00e7a en el paper del docent com a transmissor de coneixements. Tal com argumenten molts dels articles de la revista <em>Educational Evidence<\/em>, l\u2019ensenyament expl\u00edcit i estructurat, basat en la instrucci\u00f3 directa, \u00e9s especialment efica\u00e7, sobretot en contextos d\u2019ensenyament obligatori.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s, i en tots els models educatius d\u2019\u00e8xit, la <strong>cultura de l\u2019esfor\u00e7<\/strong> ocupa un lloc central. En aquest sentit, l\u2019\u00fas d\u2019<strong>ex\u00e0mens i deures<\/strong> no \u00e9s vist com una eina punitiva, sin\u00f3 com un instrument pedag\u00f2gic fonamental per refor\u00e7ar l\u2019aprenentatge, consolidar la mem\u00f2ria a llarg termini i fomentar l\u2019autodisciplina. Tamb\u00e9 l\u2019<strong>ensenyament memor\u00edstic<\/strong>, ent\u00e8s com a base necess\u00e0ria per al raonament complex, \u00e9s reivindicat com un element imprescindible en contraposici\u00f3 a certes pedagogies que confien excessivament en l\u2019aprenentatge aut\u00f2nom dels alumnes sense la necessitat de docents doctes en la seva especialitat. En altres paraules, es parteix de la idea que els alumnes no poden aprendre per ells mateixos tot all\u00f2 que encara no saben, i que la figura de l\u2019instructor expert \u00e9s insubstitu\u00efble. Desestimar aquest principi ha portat a un malbaratament de la professi\u00f3 docent i a una caiguda de la qualitat en l\u2019ensenyament. I en aix\u00f2 \u00e9s totalment determinant la consideraci\u00f3 social i econ\u00f2mica del professorat. La prova \u00e9s que als pa\u00efsos amb millors resultats en ensenyament, els docents s\u00f3n especialistes en la seva mat\u00e8ria, seleccionats amb criteris exigents i ben remunerats.<\/p>\n<p>Arribats aqu\u00ed resulta fonamental introduir el concepte d\u2019<strong>IDH<\/strong> de cada pa\u00eds (\u00cdndex de Desenvolupament Hum\u00e0). Aquest coeficient computa en una sola xifra els <strong>indicadors de salut, educaci\u00f3 i renda<\/strong> per tal de mesurar el benestar social d\u2019una poblaci\u00f3. En els pa\u00efsos amb bons resultats en ensenyament hi ha una relaci\u00f3 directa entre els indicadors de PISA, PIRLS o TIMSS amb el seu \u00cdndex de Desenvolupament Hum\u00e0 (IDH). Aquestes dades evidencien que no \u00e9s determinant quant s\u2019inverteix en educaci\u00f3, sin\u00f3 en <strong>quin model pedag\u00f2gic s\u2019inverteix<\/strong>. Sovint es posa l\u2019exemple de Singapur, que destina al voltant d\u2019un 2% del seu PIB a educaci\u00f3 i obt\u00e9 resultats excel\u00b7lents, mentre que altres pa\u00efsos amb una inversi\u00f3 molt superior al doble, com Su\u00e8cia, presenten resultats mediocres.<\/p>\n<p>Per\u00f2 l\u2019assumpte de l&#8217;IDH, i el seu benestar social associat, va m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 donat que els pa\u00efsos que l\u2019ostenten molt alt, com Jap\u00f3, Singapur o Corea del Sud, comparteixen models educatius basats en l\u2019exig\u00e8ncia, el coneixement a llarg termini i el prestigi del docent. \u00c9s a dir, <strong>un bon ensenyament potencia un excel\u00b7lent benestar social<\/strong>. En el cas espanyol, amb un IDH inferior al d\u2019aquests pa\u00efsos capdavanters, i amb resultats educatius molt millorables, es fa evident la necessitat de replantejar el seu sistema d\u2019ensenyament per tal de millorar el seu IDH. En aquest sentit, fora aconsellable fugir d\u2019ideologies pedag\u00f2giques no demostrades, i apostar per models avalats per l\u2019evid\u00e8ncia cient\u00edfica.<\/p>\n<p>En resum, podem dir que per tal de revertir els mals resultats d\u2019ensenyament nacionals cal potenciar la cultura de l\u2019esfor\u00e7, refor\u00e7ar l\u2019\u00fas d\u2019ex\u00e0mens i deures com a eines pedag\u00f2giques, millorar de manera decidida la comprensi\u00f3 lectora i l\u2019expressi\u00f3 escrita, estabilitzar les lleis educatives i dignificar el professor docte i especialista amb un gran reconeixement social i una excel\u00b7lent remuneraci\u00f3.
