El terme <em>&#8216;malparlant&#8217;<\/em> es refereix a qualsevol persona que, en un moment donat, parla &#8220;malament&#8221; o comet errors ling\u00fc\u00edstics, ja sigui per la seva varietat dialectal, la seva pron\u00fancia, interfer\u00e8ncies de la seva primera llengua, o fins i tot a causa de condicions temporals com un refredat o una disfonia (Hern\u00e1ndez-Fern\u00e1ndez, 2023). Hist\u00f2ricament, aquests <em>malparlants<\/em> han estat els qui han <strong>configurat les lleng\u00fces del m\u00f3n<\/strong> i ho continuaran fent.<\/p>\n<p>La q\u00fcesti\u00f3 esdev\u00e9 cr\u00edtica quan la llengua es creua amb la tecnologia. La tecnologia ling\u00fc\u00edstica \u2013definida com els mitjans t\u00e8cnics i sistemes que ajuden a la comunicaci\u00f3 \u2013 no \u00e9s aliena a la ideologia. De fet, la nostra percepci\u00f3 del coneixement ling\u00fc\u00edstic (el nostre o el de la m\u00e0quina) determina la nostra relaci\u00f3 amb ella. Mentre un parlant nadiu experimentat s&#8217;empipa quan un corrector autom\u00e0tic li canvia una paraula ben escrita, un aprenent de la llengua sovint accepta el canvi sense piular, creient que la m\u00e0quina t\u00e9 la ra\u00f3. La nostra consci\u00e8ncia del coneixement ling\u00fc\u00edstic \u00e9s el que ens fa situar-nos per sobre o per sota de la tecnologia.<\/p>\n<p>Les <strong>tecnologies ling\u00fc\u00edstiques (TL)<\/strong> s\u00f3n definides doncs com tots aquells mitjans t\u00e8cnics, artefactes i sistemes que permeten o ajuden a la comunicaci\u00f3 en una o m\u00e9s lleng\u00fces. Els <em>malparlants<\/em> s\u00f3n crucials per al desenvolupament d&#8217;aquestes tecnologies, incloent-hi la traducci\u00f3 autom\u00e0tica i els sistemes basats en intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia artificial (IA). Hi ha per\u00f2 pros i contres en la relaci\u00f3 de les TL amb les lleng\u00fces minoritzades del m\u00f3n (Taula 1).<\/p>\n<p>No obstant, per a tenir un bon material de base per a les tecnologies ling\u00fc\u00edstiques, \u00e9s fonamental la <strong>participaci\u00f3 de tots els parlants, incloent-hi especialment els que parlen \u00abmalament\u00bb<\/strong>. D\u2019altra banda, si les m\u00e0quines nom\u00e9s reben dades de &#8220;parlants normatius&#8221; (i de quina varietat ling\u00fc\u00edstica, per cert?), el <strong>biaix posterior ser\u00e0 nefast<\/strong>. Aix\u00f2 \u00e9s especialment cr\u00edtic en \u00e0mbits com la rehabilitaci\u00f3 logop\u00e8dica, on els parlants tenen dificultats i, en general, hi ha poques dades sobre patologies del llenguatge. Assumint un risc de ser anomenat &#8220;<em>tecnosolucionista<\/em>&#8220;, cal plantejar que la implementaci\u00f3 de <strong>bons traductors autom\u00e0tics de veu i text<\/strong> podria ser el punt final als problemes del sector audiovisual i al debat de les lleis ling\u00fc\u00edstiques i les quotes de pantalla. Segurament, fins i tot, en el futur proper potser l&#8217;\u00fas de dispositius individuals generalitzaran la traducci\u00f3 autom\u00e0tica en temps real a qualsevol llengua, imitant la veu dels actors originals, com permeten ja algunes tecnologies locals incipients.<\/p>\n<p>En resum, cal una inversi\u00f3 i un repte tecnol\u00f2gic important per donar visibilitat a les lleng\u00fces minoritzades. \u00c9s crucial despolititzar les lleng\u00fces, per\u00f2 fer pol\u00edtica ling\u00fc\u00edstica en l&#8217;\u00e0mbit tecnol\u00f2gic.
