D\u2019una banda, proclama un comprom\u00eds amb l\u2019universalisme epistemol\u00f2gic \u2014la idea que el saber ha de ser v\u00e0lid i compartible universalment\u2014, i amb l\u2019atreviment intel\u00b7lectual del<em> sapere aude<\/em>; de l\u2019altra, actua com un dispositiu de reproducci\u00f3 de privilegis, endog\u00e0mia i resist\u00e8ncia al canvi.<\/p>\n<p>El <strong>Capitalisme Digital Globalitzat<\/strong> no rebutja la transdisciplinarietat: l\u2019explota. Plataformes com Google, Meta, X, o OpenAI integren tecnologies adaptatives, dades, emocions, llenguatges i economies per produir <em>sentit operatiu<\/em> i capturar atenci\u00f3. L\u2019agilitat, la hibridaci\u00f3 simb\u00f2lica i la transversalitat s\u00f3n els nous <strong>vectors de poder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Mentre el Capitalisme Digital Globalitzat hibrida llenguatges, formats i sabers per produir valor simb\u00f2lic a gran escala, l\u2019acad\u00e8mia continua aferrada a estructures disciplin\u00e0ries pensades per un m\u00f3n medieval, de pensament parcel\u00b7lat i feudal. Les plataformes digitals han adoptat amb m\u00e9s agilitat els principis de transversalitat i interconnexi\u00f3 que l\u2019acad\u00e8mia rebutja per por a perdre el seu privilegi intern. Lluny de ser un espai neutral de dissid\u00e8ncia intel\u00b7lectual, la seva estructura jer\u00e0rquica \u2014organitzada en departaments delimitats, tribunals opacs i revistes indexades de dif\u00edcil acc\u00e9s\u2014 funciona com un mecanisme d\u2019autoconservaci\u00f3 simb\u00f2lica.<\/p>\n<p>Aquesta rigidesa no \u00e9s accidental. Com va mostrar <strong>Thomas Kuhn<\/strong>, les disciplines estabilitzen paradigmes, i aquests paradigmes protegeixen el capital (simb\u00f2lic, econ\u00f2mic i institucional) dels actors dominants. La transdisciplinarietat, en aquest sentit, no nom\u00e9s q\u00fcestiona les formes de coneixement, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 les jerarquies que les sostenen.<\/p>\n<p>Un exemple il\u00b7lustratiu: un projecte doctoral transdisciplinari \u00e9s rebutjat per una universitat catalana que es ven com oberta i moderna, amb els arguments d\u2019\u201cincongru\u00e8ncia acad\u00e8mica\u201d i de \u201cno con\u00e8ixer la casa des de dins\u201d, mentre una instituci\u00f3 japonesa \u2014especialitzada en estudis globals i transdisciplinaris\u2014 l\u2019acull amb entusiasme. \u00c9s especialment revelador que un pa\u00eds sovint titllat de conservador actu\u00ef amb m\u00e9s obertura que un altre que es pret\u00e9n modern amb insist\u00e8ncia. L\u2019objecci\u00f3 no \u00e9s epistemol\u00f2gica, sin\u00f3 pol\u00edtica: el pensament que travessa fronteres amena\u00e7a la distribuci\u00f3 del poder simb\u00f2lic dins l\u2019acad\u00e8mia catalana.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s especialment xocant constatar que figures com <strong>J\u00fcrgen Habermas<\/strong> o <strong>Noam Chomsky<\/strong>, si proposessin avui els seus projectes des de zero, toparien amb les mateixes traves formals. La universitat contempor\u00e0nia catalana \u00e9s sovint menys oberta que la del per\u00edode immediatament posterior al feixisme: hi havia m\u00e9s transdisciplinarietat i valentia intel\u00b7lectual a la postguerra que en una actualitat aparentment democr\u00e0tica i globalitzada.<\/p>\n<p>Com assenyala <strong>Terry Eagleton<\/strong>, la universitat moderna presenta una <strong>parroquialitat paradoxal<\/strong>: mentre defensa un saber \u201cuniversal\u201d, es replega en rituals autoreferencials que perpetuen el <em>statu quo<\/em>. Aquest tancament es fa operatiu a trav\u00e9s del nepotisme en la selecci\u00f3 de professorat, l\u2019opacitat en els concursos, o el tancament de files davant propostes que desborden les categories establertes.<\/p>\n<p>Aix\u00ed, el doctorat \u2014que hauria de ser la porta d\u2019acc\u00e9s a la recerca cr\u00edtica\u2014 esdev\u00e9 un <strong>filtre ideol\u00f2gic<\/strong> que neutralitza la difer\u00e8ncia i desactiva l\u2019impacte transformador del pensament. Les tesis es converteixen en exercicis futils d\u2019adaptaci\u00f3 ret\u00f2rica als codis disciplinaris, limitats a regurgitar teories consagrades sense cap aportaci\u00f3 original. La producci\u00f3 acad\u00e8mica entra aix\u00ed en un <strong>cicle est\u00e8ril d\u2019articles redundants<\/strong> que mouen l\u2019informaci\u00f3 i la classifiquen en formats delimitats, inocus, per\u00f2 no generen coneixement real.<\/p>\n<p>S\u2019ha d\u2019entendre que davant d\u2019un m\u00f3n definit per crisis interconnectades \u2014clima, desigualtat, mutaci\u00f3 digital, desinformaci\u00f3\u2014, la transdisciplinarietat no \u00e9s un caprici postmodern ni hauria de ser una eina exclusiva del Capital, sin\u00f3 una necessitat epistemol\u00f2gica i \u00e8tica per part de l\u2019acad\u00e8mia. Tal com formula <strong>Basarab Nicolescu<\/strong>, la transdisciplinarietat no \u00e9s una suma de disciplines, sin\u00f3 un moviment que dissol els seus l\u00edmits per generar nous marcs ontol\u00f2gics capa\u00e7os d\u2019abastar la complexitat real.<\/p>\n<p>Paradoxalment, la universitat p\u00fablica, pagada per tots, incapa\u00e7 de competir simb\u00f2licament, imita aquest model nom\u00e9s en la seva versi\u00f3 m\u00e9s superficial: v\u00eddeos promocionals a xarxes, m\u00e0rqueting digital i discursos d\u2019\u201cinnovaci\u00f3\u201d buits de contingut. Tot plegat \u00e9s un s\u00edndrome d\u2019Estocolm carregat de <em>pathos<\/em>: un acompliment mim\u00e8tic de la ret\u00f2rica del capital sense cap transformaci\u00f3 real de les pr\u00e0ctiques. Quan aix\u00f2 es fa amb intencions de rendibilitat o de prestigi institucional, esdev\u00e9 una forma de <strong>col\u00b7laboracionisme hip\u00f2crita<\/strong>. I el problema no \u00e9s exclusiu de les c\u00fapules: tamb\u00e9 es reprodueix \u2014amb passivitat o amb conveni\u00e8ncia\u2014 en els nivells m\u00e9s baixos del sistema.<\/p>\n<p>Per exemple, <strong>els graus<\/strong>. Ja no \u00e9s clar si els estudiants arriben amb un nivell p\u00e8ssim per culpa de les mancances estructurals de la secund\u00e0ria, o si \u00e9s la pr\u00f2pia universitat qui ha abdicat de qualsevol exig\u00e8ncia intel\u00b7lectual, sempre que els alumnes continu\u00efn pagant la matr\u00edcula i mantenint viva la roda del finan\u00e7ament. El resultat \u00e9s un espai acad\u00e8mic que sovint renuncia a la seva funci\u00f3 formativa i<strong> es limita a certificar pres\u00e8ncia<\/strong>, com si el sol fet d\u2019assistir a classe fos equivalent a aprendre. En lloc de ser una etapa de transformaci\u00f3 intel\u00b7lectual i descoberta personal, el grau s\u2019ha convertit en un tr\u00e0mit administratiu dissenyat per satisfer indicadors, no pas inquietuds.<\/p>\n<p>I per completar aquest model, arriben <strong>els m\u00e0sters<\/strong>, gaireb\u00e9 sempre innecessaris. All\u00f2 que hauria de representar una especialitzaci\u00f3 significativa i transformadora, te\u00f2ricament rellevant, s\u2019ha convertit en un simple peatge econ\u00f2mic per accedir \u2014amb sort\u2014 a un mercat laboral saturat i precari. En lloc de concentrar coneixement, molts m\u00e0sters nom\u00e9s acumulen hores per omplir curr\u00edculums. Els mateixos professors admeten sovint que estiren el xiclet del grau per justificar l\u2019exist\u00e8ncia d\u2019uns m\u00e0sters que no aporten gaire m\u00e9s que quotes i tr\u00e0mits. El resultat? M\u00e9s burocr\u00e0cia, m\u00e9s t\u00edtols, m\u00e9s deute\u2026 per\u00f2 cap progr\u00e9s real ni en la formaci\u00f3 ni en el pensament.<\/p>\n<p>Cal reapropiar-se del sentit original de la universitat com a espai de llibertat intel\u00b7lectual, experimentaci\u00f3 i resist\u00e8ncia simb\u00f2lica i \u00e9s necessari confiar en la transdisciplina. \u00c9s absolutament vital desterrar a l\u2019acad\u00e8mic indiferent i perpetuador per tra\u00efdor. Si l\u2019acad\u00e8mia vol tenir algun paper en la reorganitzaci\u00f3 del m\u00f3n postcr\u00edtic que ja s\u2019est\u00e0 gestant, ha de deixar de protegir els seus rituals obsolets i apostar per formes obertes, h\u00edbrides i valentes de coneixement. <strong>Pensar no pot ser un luxe ni un procedimen<\/strong>t: ha de ser una pr\u00e0ctica radical de transformaci\u00f3.
