L\u2019objectiu era imposar la industrialitzaci\u00f3 d\u2019un pa\u00eds aleshores subdesenvolupat i fonamentalment agr\u00edcola, tot aprofitant l\u2019immens capital hum\u00e0 que posse\u00efa. Un pa\u00eds tres o quatre vegades mil\u00b7lenari que portava tres o quatre segles als vagons de cua del tren de la historia, alhora que n\u2019havia estat rebent totes les seves cornades.<\/p>\n<p>El frac\u00e0s tr\u00e0gic i sense pal\u00b7liatius d\u2019aquestes mesures va produir, entre d\u2019altres cat\u00e0strofes, una fam que va provocar la mort d\u2019entre vint i trenta milions de persones, pel cap baix. Educativament va consistir en l\u2019aplicaci\u00f3 de la pedestre xerrameca maoista: culpabilitzaci\u00f3 del docent per defecte i sota sospita \u2013desenes de milers en van ser purgats-, antiintel\u00b7lectualisme arrauxat, igualitarisme totalitzador procusti\u00e0, la delaci\u00f3 com a model moral imperatiu, rebuig expr\u00e9s de la tradici\u00f3 i vexaci\u00f3 del coneixement, reducci\u00f3 de l\u2019ensenyament a barroeres consignes ideol\u00f2giques amb el docent a mer adoctrinador&#8230; No \u00e9s estrany que hi sentim una certa ferum amb aire de fam\u00edlia en tot aix\u00f2: molts dels nostrats seixanta-vuitistes del moment, fervents admiradors de la Revoluci\u00f3 Cultural, van fer posteriorment carrera pol\u00edtica i, pr\u00e8via apostasia, van accedir pocs anys despr\u00e9s a importants c\u00e0rrecs amb responsabilitats educatives i acad\u00e8miques a l\u2019Administraci\u00f3 catalana, i s\u2018hi van quedar apalancats. Energ\u00famens que si mai havien sentit parlar de <strong>Gramsci<\/strong>, el consideraven un reaccionari burg\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<p>Cap a mitjans dels setanta i amb la mort del \u00abGran Timoner\u00bb &#8211;<strong>Mao Zedong<\/strong>-, es va produir un canvi a les esferes de poder del PCX \u2013Partit Comunista Xin\u00e8s-. Els dirigents enquadrats amb el sector af\u00ed a Mao van ser defenestrats i detinguts. La majoria van ser purgats i alguns, com la seva v\u00eddua i l\u00edder de la \u00abBanda dels Quatre\u00bb, <strong>Jiang Qing<\/strong>, van ser empresonats, jutjats i condemnats. La pol\u00edtica econ\u00f2mica del Gran Salt Endavant i la Revoluci\u00f3 Cultural es van decretar fracassats i s\u2019obr\u00ed una nova etapa amb un nou enfoc que va portar la Xina a la seva actual posici\u00f3 de gran superpot\u00e8ncia econ\u00f2mica global, amb resultats educatius an\u00e0legs als de la destacada posici\u00f3 que ocupa al m\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Hom podria certament plantejar si, tot i haver estat un frac\u00e0s estrepit\u00f3s, el <em>Gran Salt Endavant<\/em> no hauria estat tamb\u00e9 l\u2019habilitaci\u00f3 de les condicions objectives per a la posterior accelerada econ\u00f2mica i tecnol\u00f2gica xinesa que va deixat bocabadat tot el m\u00f3n. Si ens atenim al car\u00e0cter productiu de la negativitat a la dial\u00e8ctica hegeliana i entenem que la hist\u00f2ria avan\u00e7a pel seu costat negatiu, podria ser que s\u00ed. Tanmateix, no haur\u00edem tampoc d\u2019oblidar que les coses no passen soles, i que per redre\u00e7ar-les va caldre foragitar tota la patuleia de fan\u00e0tics i ximplets sanguinaris que havien portat el pa\u00eds fins a la mateixa vora de l\u2019abisme, i facturar-los sense contemplacions cap a casa, cap camps de treball i reeducaci\u00f3 o cap a la pres\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>A casa nostra vam tenir tamb\u00e9 un Gran Salt Endavant, educatiu, ja fa gaireb\u00e9 set lustres, amb la <strong>LOGSE<\/strong> (1990). Un pa\u00eds molt avesat als grans saltirons al vuit, el nostre; i en fotre-se-la de cap. Tamb\u00e9 amb la corresponent <em>cultureta<\/em> educativa pretesament revolucion\u00e0ria, talment nostrada i de pa sucat amb oli, per\u00f2 igualment iniqua, encarada a crear i conformar \u00abopini\u00f3\u00bb educativa. Com la cambra fosca que projecta la imatge invertida -el s\u00edmil que Marx va utilitzar per explicar el sorgiment de la falsa consci\u00e8ncia: la ideologia- aqu\u00ed el nostre relat casol\u00e0 va anar d\u2019una escola \u00abpr\u00f2pia\u00bb de flors i violes que era la imatge invertida dels estralls que s\u2019estaven perpetrant. Compte, parlem de creaci\u00f3 d\u2019opini\u00f3, no de criteri: la p\u00edndola venia ja elaborada i era d\u2019obligat\u00f2ria ingesti\u00f3. O comuni\u00f3 o anatema. I com sempre, amb les corresponents pol\u00edtiques del pal i la pastanaga, administrada sota la m\u00e0xima del <em>divide et impera.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A la Xina, avui educativament capdavantera a nivell mundial, en van tenir prou amb quinze anys per acabar farts d\u2019enganyifes i de taral\u00b7lirots. Tan bon punt van poder, els van engegar a dida d\u2019una puntada al cul. A Catalunya, trenta-cinc anys despr\u00e9s de la LOGSE i quasi vint de la tan nostrada <strong>LEC<\/strong> (2009) i els seus meravellosos decrets de direccions, d\u2019autonomia de centres i de plantilles, amb els pitjors resultats de gaireb\u00e9 tota Espanya i essent la riota d\u2019Europa, encara no n\u2019hem tingut prou per adonar-nos que ens han estat prenent el p\u00e8l miserablement i, encara pitjor, que ens estan deixant intel\u00b7lectualment calbs. I seguim amb els mateixos poca-vergonyes de sempre remenant les cireres, amb les successives promocions d\u2019ac\u00f2lits de l\u2019orde, que tamb\u00e9 volen accedir a la seva part del civader, no faltava m\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Que els resultats PISA s\u00f3n un desastre? Tranquils! Convocarem una comissi\u00f3 d\u2019experts que en la seva docta saviesa ens dictaminar\u00e0 la soluci\u00f3 al problema. I resulta que la comissi\u00f3 la componen els mateixos que han promogut el desprop\u00f2sit! El <em>model d\u2019\u00e8xit<\/em> de l\u2019escola catalana, en diuen&#8230; quina barra! Aix\u00f2 s\u00ed, cal recon\u00e8ixer-los una cosa: s\u2019ha de tenir un fetge com una rajada per afirmar-ho p\u00fablicament i quedar-se tan ample. Dels que els aplaudeixen, pobrissons, millor que no en diguem res&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Alg\u00fa s\u2019imagina que el PC xin\u00e8s hagu\u00e9s encarregat a la Banda dels Quatre la formaci\u00f3 d\u2019una comissi\u00f3 d\u2019avaluaci\u00f3 del Gran Salt Endavant i la Revoluci\u00f3 Cultural?\u00a0 Oi que no? B\u00e9, s\u00ed, a Catalunya, i des fa ja uns quant anys. Hom diria fins i tot que la hist\u00f2ria aqu\u00ed no \u00e9s ni dial\u00e8ctica -pobre Hegel!- i que, simplement, s\u2019ha aturat. O potser sigui que estem atrapats en un bucle, com a la pel\u00b7l\u00edcula <strong><em>Brigadoon <\/em><\/strong>(V. Minelli, 1954), aquell poble escoc\u00e8s que nom\u00e9s reapareixia al m\u00f3n un dia cada cent anys, amb els seus habitants vivint fora del temps, de la hist\u00f2ria. I amb les seves elits prohibint als vilatans aguaitar-la, no fos que els agrad\u00e9s i se\u2019n sortissin. Potser s\u00ed que al final resultar\u00e0 que estem mentalment vivint en un nou <em>Brigadoon<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I com a <em>Brigadoon, <\/em>en el nostre cas tamb\u00e9 amb unes \u00abelits\u00bb esporuguides i alhora tan vantades de si mateixes i apegades al <em>momio<\/em> i a la cucanya que, essent ells els \u00fanics autoritzats a aguaitar la realitat exterior, ens estiguin enganyant, no fos cas que l\u2019invent se n\u2019an\u00e9s en orris i se\u2019ls acab\u00e9s la bicoca. I, ben cert, hi ha una cosa que s\u00ed que han aconseguit: tenim un model educatiu ben propi i diferenciat, tan dolent que ning\u00fa no ens el copiar\u00e0 pas; poden seguir dormint ben tranquils. Nom\u00e9s cal que estiguin atents un dia cada cent anys, no fos cas que alguns sentissin vel\u00b7le\u00eftats per retornar a la hist\u00f2ria.<\/p>\n<p>Potser que ja va sent hora d\u2019imitar els xinesos: van entendre que aquell Gran Salt Endavant era al buit, o a la in\u00f2pia, i van rectificar a temps. Ho sabrem fer nosaltres? O aix\u00f2 o ens quedem atrapats a <em>Brigadoon<\/em>; perqu\u00e8 si all\u00ed hi havia una oportunitat cada cent anys, no haur\u00edem tampoc d\u2019oblidar la maledicci\u00f3 de <strong>G.
