Vaig con\u00e8ixer a aquest professor de filosofia navarr\u00e8s l\u2019any 2011 quan el vam convidar a les I Jornades de Secund\u00e0ria, unes jornades que en breu arribaran a les XII el 22 i 23 d\u2019aquest novembre. Tot just parlar amb ell vaig adonar-me del seu bagatge, comprom\u00eds i humanitat. No tardaren noves trobades per tal de compartir la inquietud que els dos compat\u00edem pel baix nivell educatiu nacional. Aquest doctor en filosofia per la\u00a0Universitat de Barcelona, llicenciat tamb\u00e9 en Ci\u00e8ncies de l’Educaci\u00f3 i premi extraordinari en aquesta llicenciatura, va descobrir-me els mil i un detalls que afecten a tot el sistema educatiu. La seva experi\u00e8ncia i perspectiva esdevenen indiscutibles.<\/p>\n

Gregorio Luri<\/strong> ha treballat com a mestre de prim\u00e0ria, com a professor de filosofia en batxillerat i finalment com a professor universitari. \u00c9s a dir, i en el cam\u00ed de l\u2019ensenyament, ho ha patit tot. Vet aqu\u00ed, i sens dubte, que tamb\u00e9 es va dedicar a escriure sobre tot el que ensenyava i experimentava en doc\u00e8ncia, per\u00f2 el m\u00e9s important, el que l\u2019enutjava. En filosofia en s\u00f3n exemples\u00a0El proceso de S\u00f3crates<\/em>\u00a0(1998),\u00a0Prometeos: biograf\u00edas de un mito<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>(2001) i\u00a0Gu\u00eda para no entender a S\u00f3crates<\/em>\u00a0(2004). Per\u00f2 la seva experi\u00e8ncia docent, i davant el desastre educatiu que estava veient, el van emp\u00e8nyer a fer-ho p\u00fablic en nous llibres com\u00a0L’escola contra el m\u00f3n<\/em>\u00a0(2008),\u00a0Val m\u00e9s educar<\/em>\u00a0(2014),\u00a0Elogio de las familias sensatamente imperfectas<\/em>\u00a0(2017) i finalment amb el seu \u00faltim llibre\u00a0Prohibido repetir<\/em>\u00a0(2024), seguint amb els seus articles d’opini\u00f3 al diari ARA<\/em>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Gregorio, qu\u00e8 est\u00e0 passant en els nostres centres educatius?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Doncs que mentre es baixa l’exig\u00e8ncia i el rendiment, s’inflen els resultats i les notes dels nostres alumnes. Est\u00e0 passant que la doc\u00e8ncia \u00e9s cada vegada una professi\u00f3 menys atractiva, que els estudiants s’han convertit en consumidors i els professors en prove\u00efdors de serveis, i que pretenem aconseguir el benestar dels estudiants a costa de l’\u00e8xit acad\u00e8mic \u201cregalat\u201d, quan hauria de ser al rev\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Amb tants especialistes com ara t\u00e9 contractats el nostre sistema educatiu… qu\u00e8 est\u00e0 passant?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Est\u00e0 passant que mai hi ha hagut m\u00e9s pedagogs, psicopedagogs i terapeutes per metre quadrat. I, no obstant aix\u00f2, no sabem garantir la qualitat dels nostres sistemes educatius.<\/p>\n

Un sistema educatiu on la vigent LOMLOE prohibeix gaireb\u00e9 repetir<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cert, avui dia la paraula repetici\u00f3 evoca danys emocionals en el repetidor, ignorant els perjudicis als quals se\u2019l condemna per a tota la vida quan finalitza el seu ensenyament obligatori amb dificultats severes a l’hora de comprendre un text m\u00ednimament complex.<\/p>\n

Per qu\u00e8 vas fer Magisteri?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vaig fer magisteri perqu\u00e8 no em podia permetre econ\u00f2micament cap altra sortida. Vaig n\u00e9ixer en una fam\u00edlia molt humil. A casa nom\u00e9s hi havia un llibre… que ning\u00fa no llegia. A casa meu el pare va ser pastor i la mare pagesa.<\/p>\n

Entenc el que em dius, pel que et voldria preguntar qu\u00e8 va fer que despr\u00e9s de Magisteri iniciessis nous reptes?<\/strong><\/p>\n

En acabar, vaig descobrir que el que havia descobert involunt\u00e0riament m\u2019agradava i vaig venir a Barcelona a fer Pedagogia. Crec que en aix\u00f2 rau la vocaci\u00f3. No \u00e9s una llum metaf\u00edsica que et guia en l\u00ednia recta al teu dest\u00ed, sin\u00f3 el descobriment que aix\u00f2 qu\u00e8 fas no \u00e9s solament treball, que t\u00e9 un component que podr\u00edem anomenar esportiu o aventurer.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Com vas descobrir la teva passi\u00f3 per a l\u2019educaci\u00f3?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Passi\u00f3 no \u00e9s la paraula. Passi\u00f3 \u00e9s el que tinc per Shostakovich. Inter\u00e8s en l\u2019ensenyament, s\u00ed, i creixent, perqu\u00e8 l\u2019educaci\u00f3 \u00e9s la q\u00fcesti\u00f3 pol\u00edtica m\u00e9s rellevant.<\/p>\n

El teu \u00faltim llibre, Prohibido Repetir, parla molt dels errors educatius en el nostre pa\u00eds. Ens en podries fer un resum dels principals?<\/strong><\/p>\n

M\u2019interessa molt, des d\u2019un punt de vista m\u00e9s filos\u00f2fic que pedag\u00f2gic, la singularitat del que podem anomenar, amb certa generosa llibertat com \u00abra\u00f3 pedag\u00f2gica\u00bb, perqu\u00e8 en ella es troben les claus de l\u2019oposici\u00f3 irreductible entre filosofia i pol\u00edtica, que \u00e9s el que filos\u00f2ficament m\u00e9s m\u2019inquieta.<\/p>\n

Quines relacions positives establiries entre els teus projectes professionals i la formaci\u00f3 educativa que vas rebre?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despr\u00e8s de fer Magisteri i Ci\u00e8ncies de l\u2019Educaci\u00f3 amb molt bones notes vaig tenir una experi\u00e8ncia professional molt decebedora. Mai no m\u2019he sentit amb m\u00e9s desig de fer les coses b\u00e9 i amb m\u00e9s impot\u00e8ncia per gestionar amb \u00e8xit la meva pr\u00e0ctica.<\/p>\n

“Si hagu\u00e9s estat educat en l\u2019actual sistema educatiu, i n\u2019estic conven\u00e7ut, ara estaria treballant d\u2019humil\u00edssim pag\u00e8s en el meu poble”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Podem dir que com a pedagog et vas sentir fracassat?<\/strong><\/p>\n

El meu frac\u00e0s docent va ser total. Aix\u00ed que vaig agafar tots els meus llibres de pedagogia i vaig anar a vendre\u2019ls a les llibreries de vell, considerant-los una c\u00e0rrega feixuga i in\u00fatil. Cap llibreter els volia, ni regalats. Llavors vaig veure que els llibres de filosofia continuaven demanant-se. En aquell moment vaig decidir fer filosofia i moure\u2019m entre la pedagogia i la filosofia. Aquest \u201centre dos\u201d \u00e9s el meu actual espai intel\u00b7lectual.<\/p>\n

Al respecte de l\u2019actual sistema educatiu, i si hi haguessis estat format en ell, hauria aix\u00f2 fet millorar o empitjorar la teva activitat professional?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Si hagu\u00e9s estat educat en l\u2019actual sistema educatiu, i n\u2019estic conven\u00e7ut, ara estaria treballant d\u2019humil\u00edssim pag\u00e8s en el meu poble.<\/p>\n

Per\u00f2 no va ser aix\u00ed, per quina ra\u00f3?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perqu\u00e8 els mestres que vaig tenir, amb algunes excepcions, m\u2019estimulaven cont\u00ednuament a tenir present la imatge del que, assenyadament, podria arribar a ser. Estic molt agra\u00eft als frares caputxins que em van acollir gratu\u00eftament en aquell internat.<\/p>\n

On va ser aix\u00f2?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Alsasua, a Navarra. Era molt auster, per\u00f2 ens passaven una pel\u00b7l\u00edcula cada 15 dies en un petit cinema que hi tenien. All\u00e0 vaig descobrir John Ford, Orson Welles, Alexander Korda… I tamb\u00e9 Mozart, Stevenson, i tants d\u2019altres referents de la meva vida.<\/p>\n

Llegint el teu llibre, Prohibido Repetir, com creus que s\u2019hauria de millorar l\u2019actual sistema d\u2019ensenyament?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Comprometent-se de valent amb els alumnes culturalment pobres. Les metodologies que tenen \u00e8xit amb els \u201cculturalment\u201d rics no necess\u00e0riament funcionen amb els pobres, per\u00f2 les que funcionen amb els pobres, funcionen amb tothom.<\/p>\n

Sota una perspectiva ut\u00f2pica, quin seria el teu desig per a l’entorn personal per on vius?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Veure cr\u00e9ixer els meus nets, continuar mereixent l\u2019amor de la meva dona, i mantenir-me actiu… fins el darrer sospir.<\/p>\n
