Qu\u00e8 han de saber els docents de la IA i com aplicar-la a l\u2019aula?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La UNESCO ha publicat una interessant guia\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unesdoc.unesco.org\/ark:\/48223\/pf0000391104\">AI competency framework for teachers<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0per al professorat, en all\u00f2 que anomenen \u201cmarc de compet\u00e8ncia sobre IA\u201d, que es resumir\u00e0 i comentar\u00e0 aqu\u00ed. Val la pena llegir-la i reflexionar-hi. A qu\u00e8 es refereixen en aquest marc i com canvia la doc\u00e8ncia la IA? Qu\u00e8 aporta sobre el (molt) que s\u2019ha escrit aquests darrers anys?<\/p>\n<p>A difer\u00e8ncia de tecnologies anteriors, alerta la UNESCO, la IA pot reempla\u00e7ar ben aviat la presa de decisions educatives basada en patrons de dades. Aix\u00f2 planteja el risc que els docents perdin compet\u00e8ncies clau si depenen en exc\u00e9s de la IA, per aix\u00f2 s\u2019emfatitza la import\u00e0ncia de mantenir l\u2019ag\u00e8ncia humana i una mentalitat centrada en les persones, perqu\u00e8 la IA sigui una eina de suport i no la substituci\u00f3 del docent en les seves funcions o en la presa de decisions: val la pena recordar que ja ten\u00edem\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iiia.csic.es\/barcelonadeclaration\/\">la declaraci\u00f3 de B<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iiia.csic.es\/barcelonadeclaration\/\">a<\/a><u>rcelona\u00a0<\/u>\u00a0(2017) sobre l\u2019\u00fas responsable de la IA, i els seus sis principis:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Prud\u00e8ncia<\/strong>: \u00c9s crucial recon\u00e8ixer les limitacions de la IA i els seus riscos, abans de fer-la servir. La primera al front, el primer principi que ens hem saltat a la brava.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Fiabilitat<\/strong>: Els sistemes d\u2019IA s\u2019han de sotmetre a proves rigoroses de seguretat, fiabilitat i confian\u00e7a, especialment en \u00e0rees com la medicina, l\u2019educaci\u00f3 o la rob\u00f2tica aut\u00f2noma.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Responsabilitat<\/strong>: Els sistemes d\u2019IA han de ser capa\u00e7os d\u2019explicar les vostres decisions de manera comprensible. Les persones afectades per les decisions de la IA tenen el dret de q\u00fcestionar-les i obtenir explicacions clares, amb persones responsables darrere d\u2019aquestes eines.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Rendici\u00f3 de comptes<\/strong>: En aquest sentit, \u00e9s essencial poder rastrejar i responsabilitzar els responsables darrere de sistemes d\u2019IA. No val rentar-se les mans i donar-li la culpa a la m\u00e0quina.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Autonomia restringida<\/strong>: Els sistemes d\u2019IA que actuen al m\u00f3n real han d\u2019estar subjectes a regles clares que limitin les seves accions i efectes, i assegurin que s\u2019aline\u00efn amb els valors humans. Aix\u00f2 \u00e9s fonamental en sectors tan perillosos com ara el desenvolupament d\u2019armes aut\u00f2nomes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><strong>Rol hum\u00e0<\/strong>: La intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia humana continua sent crucial, especialment en situacions no previstes pels sistemes de IA. Cal supervisar la IA: la sinergia entre la IA i l\u2019hum\u00e0 \u00e9s clau.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00fas de IA planteja molts desafiaments \u00e8tics, com la privadesa de les dades personals, els biaixos i el potencial de desigualtats socials que es poden generar.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/topics\/es\/article\/20230601STO93804\/ley-de-ia-de-la-ue-primera-normativa-sobre-inteligencia-artificial\">\u00c9s d\u2019alt risc el seu \u00fas en educaci\u00f3, segons la normativa europea<\/a>. Els docents han de ser conscients d\u2019aquests riscos i capacitar-se en el seu \u00fas responsable. A difer\u00e8ncia d\u2019eines digitals anteriors, amb un simple\u00a0<em>prompt<\/em>\u00a0la IA generativa ofereix resultats (textos, imatges, v\u00eddeos\u2026) de manera estoc\u00e0stica, i de vegades erra, per la qual cosa s\u2019ha de supervisar. Els docents necessiten entendre com funciona la IA per a supervisar-la i avaluar cr\u00edticament aquests resultats, per tal de decidir si aplicar-los o no a la seva tasca, i valorar si les activitats de classe que planteja als seus alumnes s\u00f3n adequades: es poden resoldre a cop de clic?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/unesdoc.unesco.org\/ark:\/48223\/pf0000391104\">L\u2019informe de la UNESCO (2024)<\/a>\u00a0proposa una aproximaci\u00f3 centrada e les persones, guiada per principis \u00e8tics com el desenvolupament hum\u00e0, l\u2019equitat, la inclusi\u00f3 i la rendici\u00f3 de comptes en l\u2019\u00fas de la IA. Es complementa, per cert, amb\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unesdoc.unesco.org\/ark:\/48223\/pf0000391105\">un altre informe dedicat espec\u00edficament als estudiants<\/a>, m\u00e9s extens, que val la pena rellegir i creuar amb el dels docents.<\/p>\n<p>Els docents han d\u2019estar capacitats per entendre m\u00ednimament la IA, integrar-la a les seves especialitats did\u00e0ctiques i promoure valors socials i culturals, aix\u00ed com el seu \u00fas \u00e8tic i cr\u00edtic, en un context social on la IA no hauria de reempla\u00e7ar la interacci\u00f3 humana. L\u2019explicabilitat ser\u00e0 un dels reptes dels propers anys.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00fas de la IA en educaci\u00f3 hauria d\u2019haver estat validat en termes de confian\u00e7a, seguretat i sostenibilitat abans de la seva implementaci\u00f3 a gran escala. Els docents han de rebre suport continu per adaptar-se a aquests canvis tecnol\u00f2gics al llarg de la carrera professional, no ser abandonats a la seva sort. Per aix\u00f2, \u00e9s essencial una formaci\u00f3 continuada i pol\u00edtiques que fomentin l\u2019aprenentatge professional permanent, adaptant curr\u00edculums i m\u00e8todes d\u2019avaluaci\u00f3 a les noves possibilitats que ofereix la IA, amb molta cautela, tot recordant que \u00e9s d\u2019alt risc en educaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019estructura del marc de compet\u00e8ncies a IA per a docents proposada per la UNESCO es presenta en una matriu bidimensional que inclou cinc aspectes que evolucionen a trav\u00e9s de tres nivells de progressi\u00f3 (adquisici\u00f3, aprofundiment i creaci\u00f3), formant quinze blocs diferenciats de compet\u00e8ncies (Taula 1 ). En creuar aquests tres nivells de progressi\u00f3 amb els cinc aspectes de compet\u00e8ncia, el marc defineix quinze blocs dissenyats per donar suport a tots els docents, des d\u2019aquells sense coneixements previs a IA fins a aquells amb m\u00e9s experi\u00e8ncia en el seu \u00fas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taula 1. Aquests aspectes segons la UNESCO s\u00f3n \u200b\u200bcomplementaris, interdependents i sin\u00e8rgics. Els cinc aspectes s\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mentalitat centrada en les persones: Defineix els valors i les actituds cr\u00edtiques necess\u00e0ries per a les interaccions entre humans i sistemes basats en IA que els docents han de fomentar.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c8tica de la IA: estableix els principis \u00e8tics essencials, aix\u00ed com les normatives, lleis institucionals i regles que els docents han de comprendre, aplicar i adaptar.<\/li>\n<li>Fonaments i aplicacions de la IA: Especifica els coneixements i les habilitats transferibles que els docents necessiten per seleccionar, aplicar i personalitzar les eines d\u2019IA per a entorns d\u2019ensenyament i aprenentatge, fomentant la creativitat.<\/li>\n<li>Pedagogia de la IA: implica integrar la IA de manera efica\u00e7 en les metodologies i estrat\u00e8gies pedag\u00f2giques, des de la preparaci\u00f3 del curs fins a l\u2019avaluaci\u00f3.<\/li>\n<li>IA per al desenvolupament professional: Detalla les compet\u00e8ncies que els docents han de desenvolupar per utilitzar la IA en el seu aprenentatge professional continu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Potser val la pena recordar aqu\u00ed la distinci\u00f3 entre all\u00f2 legal i all\u00f2 \u00e8tic. L\u2019informe de la UNESCO tendeix a barrejar tots dos elements en alguns moments: l\u2019educaci\u00f3 obligat\u00f2ria hauria de formar ciutadans que coneguin les lleis de la IA i la protecci\u00f3 de dades, aix\u00ed com els seus drets per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 els seus deures, all\u00f2 que \u00e9s legal i all\u00f2 que no. Despr\u00e9s hi ha l\u2019\u00e8tica. Per exemple, una cosa \u00e9s que sigui legal fer servir ChatGPT i una altra que sigui m\u00e9s \u00e8tic fer servir altres grans models de llenguatge, com\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/huggingface.co\/chat\/\">HuggingChat<\/a>, m\u00e9s transparents i que no es queden les teves dades per la cara.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Segona Dimensi\u00f3: Els nivells de progressi\u00f3<\/h3>\n<p>El marc de la UNESCO reconeix que el desenvolupament professional relacionat amb la IA \u00e9s un proc\u00e9s complex i que dep\u00e8n del context, no necess\u00e0riament lineal o jer\u00e0rquic. Els interessos i les necessitats dels docents poden variar, segons els nivells educatius que imparteixin i les seves especialitats. Tot i aix\u00ed, estableix tres nivells de progressi\u00f3 generals per orientar el creixement dels docents:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Adquirir: Estableix el conjunt essencial de compet\u00e8ncies en IA que tots els docents necessiten per avaluar, seleccionar i fer servir adequadament les eines d\u2019IA.<\/li>\n<li>Aprofundir: Defineix compet\u00e8ncies interm\u00e8dies necess\u00e0ries per dissenyar estrat\u00e8gies pedag\u00f2giques i materials did\u00e0ctics que integrin la IA a classe.<\/li>\n<li>Crear: Estableix compet\u00e8ncies avan\u00e7ades per configurar de manera creativa els sistemes d\u2019IA i el seu \u00fas innovador a l\u2019educaci\u00f3.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Est\u00e0 b\u00e9 que es reconegui la complexitat del desenvolupament professional docent, per\u00f2 caldria afegir que no serveixen les receptes universals a la formaci\u00f3 del professorat. Tot i aix\u00f2, l\u2019esfor\u00e7 del document de la UNESCO \u00e9s notable, per la qual cosa els recomano la lectura de les seves cinquanta p\u00e0gines, encara que potser s\u2019hi discrepi en alguns enfocaments.<\/p>\n<p>Al meu entendre, l\u2019\u00e8xit en la integraci\u00f3 de la IA a l\u2019educaci\u00f3 dep\u00e8n de factors tan b\u00e0sics com els plantejats a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iiia.csic.es\/barcelonadeclaration\/\">la declaraci\u00f3 de B<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iiia.csic.es\/barcelonadeclaration\/\">a<\/a><u>rcelona<\/u>, \u200b\u200bl\u2019acc\u00e9s a la infraestructura digital, regulacions m\u00e9s estrictes sobre privadesa i seguretat de dades (que ja s\u00f3n urgents si pensem en les plataformes educatives que tenen les dades dels nostres alumnes\u2026), aix\u00ed com pol\u00edtiques educatives de suport real i de foment del desenvolupament professional, amb oportunitats de formaci\u00f3 constant i adaptada a la realitat de l\u2019aula, acompanyades d\u2019incentius laborals.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s, hi ha aspectes socials, com la confian\u00e7a diversa dels equips directius dels centres a les m\u00faltiples eines d\u2019IA existents o el seu impacte en una potencial c\u00e0rrega laboral desigual dels docents, que influiran en la implementaci\u00f3 als centres educatius: s\u2019acabar\u00e0 demanant m\u00e9s en menys temps als que s\u00e0piguen, i el mateix als que no? No passa ja amb altres tecnologies?<\/p>\n<p>El proper desembre es compliran 50 anys de la c\u00e8lebre confer\u00e8ncia de Haifa en qu\u00e8 Mario Bunge va encunyar el terme \u2018tecno\u00e8tica\u2019. Aix\u00ed ens alertava Mario Bunge al seu manifest \u201cPer una tecno\u00e8tica\u201d (Bunge, 2019:133): \u201c<em>Els instruments s\u00f3n moralment inerts i socialment irresponsables. Per tant, quan actuen com a instruments, el cient\u00edfic, l\u2019enginyer o l\u2019administrador defugen assumir responsabilitats<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El mateix es podria aplicar als docents.
