Tenim tend\u00e8ncia a sobreestimar els efectes d&#8217;una tecnologia en el curt termini i subestimar l&#8217;efecte en el llarg termini. Les lluentors i enlluernis inicials han tingut, com a efecte, una sort d&#8217;hipnosi col\u00b7lectiva que paralitza qualsevol acci\u00f3 que no sigui l&#8217;admiraci\u00f3 per la novetat.<\/p>\n<p>Cal un temps per a anar entenent totes les conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies, incl\u00f2s el costat fosc d&#8217;aquesta novetat. Passat aquest temps, s&#8217;inicia la protesta organitzada a trav\u00e9s de moviments socials que cerquen corregir els biaixos negatius. Primer van ser els \u2018<strong>penedits digitals<\/strong>\u2019, executius i dissenyadors de la ind\u00fastria que van renunciar als seus llocs pel que van considerar una falta de criteris \u00e8tics de les companyies. Posteriorment, algunes escoles i alguns pares van iniciar projectes locals de desconnexi\u00f3 i despr\u00e9s van ser els governs que, t\u00edmidament i davant l&#8217;<strong>amena\u00e7a de la IA<\/strong>, han comen\u00e7at a arribar a acords reguladors.<\/p>\n<p>Totes aquestes iniciatives posen de manifest que ja vivim en un <strong>nou m\u00f3n \u2018figital\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0que s&#8217;obre cam\u00ed amb passes de gegant (Ubieto). Fa 16 anys, quan es va presentar el primer <em>iPhone<\/em>, el digital encara era un complement de les nostres vides anal\u00f2giques. El f\u00edsic constitu\u00efa l&#8217;eix central i a estones (nens i adolescents una mica m\u00e9s) contest\u00e0vem un correu, consult\u00e0vem una informaci\u00f3 o penj\u00e0vem una foto familiar en el naixent <em>Facebook<\/em>. Avui, aquests gadgets i els seus algorismes han creat un nou m\u00f3n en el qual tots habitem i que ja \u00e9s indistingible del f\u00edsic perqu\u00e8 estan hibridats: adolescents asseguts en un parc mirant els seus m\u00f2bils i comentant entre ells el que all\u00ed veuen; persones grans xerrant amb els robots que els serveis assistencials els han posat per a fer-los companyia i vigilar el seu estat; pares que xategen amb els seus fills morts a trav\u00e9s dels <em>griefbots<\/em> que els \u2018ressusciten\u2019 o artistes casats amb un holograma o conversant amb el xat GPT o DALL-E2 per a dissenyar les seves obres.<\/p>\n<p>Els\u00a0<strong>gadgets<\/strong>\u00a0ja no s\u00f3n simples objectes electr\u00f2nics, s\u00f3n les <strong>interf\u00edcies<\/strong> que ens serveixen de passarel\u00b7la connectiva en aquest nou m\u00f3n. El tel\u00e8fon intel\u00b7ligent \u00e9s, sens dubte, el\u00a0gadget\u00a0estrella per la seva portabilitat i la seva personalitzaci\u00f3 que el converteix en una sort de pr\u00f2tesi subjectiva, fins al punt que molts nens i adolescents senten que llevar-l&#8217;hi \u00e9s com una mutilaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Tots habitem aquest m\u00f3n de manera volunt\u00e0ria, al qual hem delegat q\u00fcestions tan importants com s\u00f3n el saber i la satisfacci\u00f3. Cada vegada confiem m\u00e9s en la seva intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia i cada cop estimem m\u00e9s les m\u00e0quines. La seva seducci\u00f3 es justifica per les facilitats que ofereix: sembla gratis, \u00e9s intu\u00eftiu i amb poques regles. Per\u00f2 aquesta <strong>enganyosa amistositat<\/strong> ens ha revelat ja les seves servituds, la m\u00e9s important \u00e9s el segrest de la nostra atenci\u00f3. Segrest que ja t\u00e9 els seus efectes: p\u00e8rdua d&#8217;hores de somni, pobre rendiment acad\u00e8mic -com mostren cada tres anys els informes PISA-, disminuci\u00f3 habilitats socials i d&#8217;activitats creatives (lectura, entreteniments) i esportives, a m\u00e9s de totes les viol\u00e8ncies digitals.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s hora de deixar de ser ostatges de nosaltres mateixos i d&#8217;aquesta <strong>seducci\u00f3 digital<\/strong> recuperant aquesta atenci\u00f3. Per a aix\u00f2, cal regular el seu \u00fas, tasca que competeix a tots: governs, ind\u00fastria, mitjans de comunicaci\u00f3, fam\u00edlies, escoles i cadascun individualment. L&#8217;elecci\u00f3 que tenim \u00e9s clara: o b\u00e9 assumim aquesta responsabilitat compartida (cadasc\u00fa la seva) o continuem confiant en la culpabilitat dels m\u00e9s febles (professors, fam\u00edlies i adolescents) als quals, ing\u00e8nua o c\u00ednicament, els demanem que regulin all\u00f2 que el govern m\u00e9s poder\u00f3s del planeta no ha aconseguit fer, en la seva confrontaci\u00f3 amb les companyies tecnol\u00f2giques.<\/p>\n<p>Hem passat del Pare a l&#8217;iPad i ara toca revertir el proc\u00e9s per a retornar a fam\u00edlies i docents la seva genu\u00efna condici\u00f3 de primers\u00a0<em>influencers<\/em>, sense menysprear altres refer\u00e8ncies virtuals que tamb\u00e9 poden ser positives.<\/p>\n<p>Recuperar l&#8217;autoritat perduda no es fa nom\u00e9s per decret llei -aix\u00f2 pot ser un element d&#8217;ajuda col\u00b7lectiva innegable- perqu\u00e8 requereix de la proactivitat de tots els actors. Educar en el virtual suposa les mateixes premisses que <strong>educar en all\u00f2 real<\/strong>: una tasca complexa i impossible de reduir a una sola variable.<\/p>\n<p>Aquesta tasca, pr\u00f2pia i espec\u00edfica de l&#8217;escola i la fam\u00edlia, requereix un marc m\u00e9s ampli que inclogui les normes i lleis que prohibeixen, per\u00f2 que per aix\u00f2 mateix tamb\u00e9 han de permetre l&#8217;aprenentatge de les novetats que una \u00e8poca comporta. No per a idealitzar-les, sin\u00f3 per a acollir-les de manera oberta i cr\u00edtica (Heidegger). Els <strong>tecnomites<\/strong> (nadius digitals, tecnologia neutra, equival\u00e8ncia connexi\u00f3-vincle) no s\u00f3n destins inexorables als quals h\u00e0gim de resignar-nos.
